The village of Baslow is very lucky to have an abundance of shops contained within it ranging from ladies fashion, to antiques and a specialist toy shop through to groceries and premium gift shops.
Most requirements seem to be taken care of within the village confines, making it an interesting place to visit and stroll through if you enjoy a little retail therapy or even just window shopping.
It makes sense to start at one end of the village, either by Goose Green or The Church and wander through to the other end, as there are enough shops to keep your interest, plus, if you are on foot it gives you a good excuse to stop off at a pub, cafe or even restaurant to rest those weary feet - if an excuse is needed!!
