Goose Green is the main village green in Baslow, occupying an area called Nether End, which is surrounded by hotels, little shops, restaurants and tea rooms, making it a good stopping off point within the village. It is also very close to the "Golden Gates" of Chatsworth and provides access to the Chatsworth parklands via the Packhorse Bridge which dates back to the 17th Century.
